Sanctuary

Deeply recessed alcoves create varying levels of comfort and seclusion – the ‘bedroom’ with its large white double bed has an angel adding its symbolic benediction for relaxing sleep. Another alcove has ample space for the relaxed to lie back onto the lap of the one massaging either the head or feet of the partner on the very generous sofa with deliciously silken covers. There is also a plenty of space in the spacious sitting room with its fireplace. Slip into the sunken bath and watch the water pour out of the lion’s mouth as you sip your favourite beverage. This suite also has its own beautiful terrace overlooking the valley.

Archangel

The ‘Archangel Suite’ is a dramatically decorated suite with stone, brass, marble and statues – not forgetting that of the archangel beautifully depicted above the fireplace. A mini-sultanate in and of itself, the ‘Archangel Suite’s bed promises to give even the most restless of sleepers plenty of space to even lie crossways due to its enormous size.

The Byzantium Treasury

Bold brass, stone and wood imperial style carvings stand out in sharp relief against hand hewn walls and brickwork.  Large candelabra vie with the modernity of electric to cast their own atmospheric shadows onto the nook and cranny of the statues.  Onyx surrounds the sunken bath while the rich fabrics of brocade in the large double bed warm both in comfort and style.
