Mystic, opulent and magical.  The tale of many an early Christian can be told by the enormously heavy stone that separates the rooms.  Now moved by remote control – then, by frightened humans fearful for their life. Silken velvet covers for the king size bed, marble statuettes gothic style carvings, bathroom fit for a sultan and an open fireplace.

Shaman

Shamanic rituals aside – this suite screams ‘cosy comfort’. There’s something satisfying seeing the marks make by the artisan on every piece of furniture and wall space. The bath polished out of one giant piece of meteorite, the cobbled hallway and the wooden beams offer just small hints of the stunning amount of love and care to create this unique atmosphere.

The King’s Ego

Ornate, Rococo style furniture carved out of solid blocks of wood, statues and busts, augur a holiday break never before experienced.  Every inch seemingly so casually decorated with paintings, mirrors and furniture belies the careful thought put into making this suite something to remember.  The mezzanine level encourages light through its window while sipping your favourite tipple or beverage.  Reminiscent of days of yore the ‘King’s Ego’,&a
