Portville Villas, Gocek

Closely modelled on Florida's Naples, with a respectful nod to Venice, Portville lies perched on Gocek Bay you might even say surrounded by it. A network of little canals allows the sea to wind its way between villas, giving you the chance to navigate around the village and out to the marina aboard a Zodiac equipped with a robust 50hp engine; alternatively, ride a designer Fiat 500 folding bicycle. 

Location

Portville lies within five minutes of the village of Gocek on one side and Port Gocek on the other. As residents of Portville, guests have privileged entry to the marina, with its coveted selection of wine bars, bistros and restaurants.

Private Beach

Guests also have special access to the private beach of the D-Resort Gocek,(with %75 discount) and to its renowned Breeze Restaurant. The beach has imported sand from the Sahara desert you might say it's more Maldives than Mediterranean. 

Almost on the sea at the beach is the Breeze restaurant, which is rapidly becoming established as one of Göcek's more fashionable places to eat. It is a particular delight to sample the wickedly tempting menu as you gaze out across the sea to the twelve islands beyond.

The beach is a ten-minute walk from the Portville Villas but there's a golf buggy service to shuttle you to and fro if you prefer. You could also just grab a bike and go. Göcek is flatter than Holland.

Villas

Portville Gocek villas have two-three bedrooms luxury villas that are beyond your expectation. Usually, a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a second double room with the third a single (another folding bed can be provided) or a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a second is a single bedroom. The large living area is well-appointed with modern amenities and comfortable furnishings. 

Local attractions

Gocek is a fabulous place from which to take a trip aboard a gullet. Gocek bay is populated with a family of twelve picturesque islands. A cruise threading its way languidly between them is a wonderful combination of relaxing tranquillity and aesthetic delight, many have sandy beaches, some with delightful restaurants and some are historically significant, you could visit Cleopatra’s Island, said to have been a gift to the Egyptian beauty from Mark Anthony. The ruins of her “hammam” - the Turkish Bath - are still to be found here and indeed, bathed in. 

Not forgetting:

• The ancient city of Caunos
• The loggerhead turtles, who use this area for breeding
• The Butterfly Valley
• The mud baths and Lycian rock tombs at Dalyan
• The ruins of five Lycian cities in the Xanthos Valley

Gocek has well-kept seafront jazz bars and bistros, small boutiques, well-stocked little shops and a clean and pretty market square. A walk along the palm tree-lined promenade, with the coastal hills rising all around you and bowsprits of all kinds bobbing maritime greeting to you, is a delight.

OUR FLIGHT CONCIERGE SERVICE

We understand that you have your own travel preferences, however, our service is focused on their provision.

We offer any flight, any airport, any duration or no flight at all- whatever you wish.

If your dates cross a price band, the initial price (up to 7 nights) is taken from the date of departure.

Thereafter, the nightly rate is applied relevant to the specific dates of occupancy.

Payment Terms

In order to confirm your booking a deposit is due for 50% of the accommodation cost PLUS the full cost of any flights arranged by Voyage Elegante.

The balance for the entire booking is due in full 12 weeks prior to departure and therefore for any bookings made within that period.

The 50% is calculated from the accommodation booking price shown above. 

A deposit is NOT required for additional guests in a room or any ancillary services.
